Why Tufts: I wanted a program that was large enough to give me the exposure and training I needed, but small enough that I could feel like I was part of a family and a program that would support me in all of my endeavors. The dedication of the faculty during my interview to resident training, education, and success, was evident and has continued to remain so during my first few weeks here. Tufts did not shy away from my interest in pediatric or global surgery and has been wholeheartedly supportive since my arrival. I definitely found a training program that not only cares about me as a surgeon and trainee, but also as a human and person outside of the hospital. I've also been in the OR and assigned to cases in my first month of residency and couldn't be happier!
